The Heart of Ninth Wave Art Psychotherapy

A Gentle Place to Begin

Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses creative expression, like drawing, painting, sculpting, or collage as a way to explore emotions, process experiences, and support healing. It’s not about making “good” art. It’s about giving shape to what’s hard to say.

You don’t need to be artistic or even know what you want to say when you begin. Art therapy isn’t a class or a technique, it’s a process. A gentle one. One that allows your inner world to be seen, safely and without judgment.

Hi, I’m Natasha. I’m an Art Psychotherapist based on Vancouver Island. I create a space where people can explore their experiences at their own pace, especially during times of transition, grief, burnout, anxiety, creative blocks, identity shifts, or simply feeling stuck.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe that healing happens when we feel supported, seen, and gently invited back to ourselves.

the Story

The Heart Behind Ninth Wave

Ninth Wave Art Psychotherapy was born out of a belief in the healing power of creativity, especially during times of transition, uncertainty, or renewal.

The name reflects the idea of riding the final wave of transformation, one that carries wisdom, strength, and a deeper connection to self.

This practice holds space for that process to unfold, gently, authentically, and in tune with your own rhythm.

Rooted in a lifelong relationship with the arts and shaped by both personal and professional experience, this work honors the layered, evolving nature of healing.

Every session is guided by compassion, creativity, and the deep trust that meaningful change can begin from within..
